How to Enroll

Connecting Waters Charter School (Waterford)
(Resource Center Located: 12705 Bentley Street, Waterford, CA 95386)

We service families who reside in the following counties; Stanislaus, San Joaquin, Alameda, Calaveras, Mariposa, Merced, Santa Clara, and Tuolumne.

Currently - Open and Accepting Interest Forms

Dear Potential Parent/Guardian
 If you are interested in enrolling your child in our school for the 2024-25 academic school year; please complete the interest form by clicking on this LINK. You will receive a 24hr notification once we receive the interest form and instructions on the next step of the process.  

We will follow up and send you a link to complete registration along with a list of required documents. The application will not be processed until that step is completed and documents are received. Please do not disenroll your child from the current school until you have been contacted and provided the withdrawal form. Enrollment is not guaranteed and also based on Teacher availability in your service area.

Enrollment Window CLOSED   

Dear Potential Parent/Guardian
Thank you for your interest in Connecting Waters Charter School (Waterford). Our enrollment window has closed. 

If you completed an interest form during our recent open enrollment window (November 1st-15th) . The Lottery Drawing that was scheduled for November 16th at 2:00pm was cancelled. Your student will have a spot for the Spring Semester of  2023-24 Academic school year at Connecting Waters Charter School pending the completion of the registration and submission of all required documents. Please check your email inbox for notifications as to the next steps for completing the online registration.

 REQUIRED FORMS

 Your enrollment cannot move forward until all of the required documentation is received.

 These documents can be:

  •  Scanned and uploaded to your online application
  • Faxed to (209) 874-9531
  • Mailed or delivered to CWCS Enrollment, 12420 Bentley Street Waterford, CA 95386
  • Dropped off at the Connecting Waters Learning Center or School Office in Waterford
  1. A legible copy of the student’s up-to-date completed Immunization Records – including new Pertussis (Whooping Cough) requirement for students in grades 7 – 12.
  2. Proof of Residency 
  3. A completed Health Exam form (for Kindergarten and 1st grade students only)
  4. A completed Oral Health Assessment form (for Kindergarten and 1st grade students only)
  5. A copy of the student’s Official High School Transcripts (please retain the original for the initial enrollment meeting)*
  6. You will receive a call to make an intake appointment once the application has been processed and there is a teacher available in their service area
  7. You will complete the final enrollment paperwork and process during the intake appointment or
  8. If the meeting is informational they will finalize the enrollment process with the credentialed teacher

*  Your application will not be considered complete until these documents are received. 

Applications received without the required documentation cannot be processed until all items have been received.

Please note: DO NOT dis-enroll your student from their current school until you have completed enrollment paperwork during your intake appointment.
