Free Rice is a non-profit website run by the United Nations World Food Program. There is math, science, geography, art history, foreign languages and more. Freerice has a custom database containing questions at varying levels of difficulty. There are levels appropriate for beginners and levels that will challenge the most scholarly professors. In between are levels suitable for students of all ages. Freerice automatically adjusts to your level. It starts by giving you questions of increasing difficulty and then, based on how you do, assigns you an approximate starting level. You then determine a more exact level for yourself as you play. FreeRice has two goals: (1) Provide education to everyone for free. (2) Help end world hunger by providing rice to hungry people for free.

Annenberg Learner uses media and telecommunications to advance excellent teaching in American schools. Annenberg Learner's multimedia resources help teachers increase their expertise in their fields and assist them in improving their teaching methods. HippoCampus

Includes algebra, geometry, calculus, advanced math, statistics and probability topics. Has good videos, interactive simulations, and worked examples of problems. Also has other topics including biology, chemistry, physics, economics, history and government. 

Calculation Nation

Calculation Nation® is part of the NCTM Illuminations project, which offers Standards-based resources. Allows students to investigate significant mathematical content through games which are engaging and cover multiple high school math topics. Must register, but registration is free.

High School Math activities ranging from easy high school math activities to more advanced. Includes worksheet puzzles which employ math concepts.

Euclid's Elements

Illustrated edition of Euclid's Elements includes 13 books on plane geometry, geometric and abstract algebra, number theory. Uses a Java applet called the Geometry Applet to illustrate the diagrams. Euclid's Elements is one of the very earliest mathematical works to be printed and available in its entirety at this link.

Math Forum This online community includes teachers, students, researchers, parents and educators who have an interest in math and math education. The site includes Ask Dr. Math, Problems of the Week, discussion groups and much more.

AAA Math Customized by grade level and topic, AAA Math features explanations of various mathematical topics, practice problems and fun, challenging games.

Cool Math This fully interactive site and allows the user to sharpen basic math skills, play games and explore new math concepts.

PBS Mathline: Online Interaction. PBS Mathline provides a collection of online lesson plans from their television math projects for the elementary, the middle, and the high school. Topics include money, statistics, measurement, and algebra. To view and print all these plans, you must download Adobe's free Acrobat Reader.

TeacherVision, part of the FamilyEducation Network, provides a collection of math and general curriculum areas lesson plans for grades K-12.

The Math League, designed for students in fourth grade through high school, specializes in math contests, books and computer software. The "Help Facility" is handy reference guide for math topics complete with examples, definitions and explanations.

Fun Brain This site includes 17 original games based on soccer, car racing and many other games include Math Baseball, where a child can score runs with correct answers and Operation Order, where students can build pyramids with their knowledge of algebra.

Math Play Ground This site is an action-packed site for elementary and middle school students. Play a math game, solve a logic puzzle, and have some fun!

A Plus Math This web site was developed to help students improve their math skills interactively. It allows students to make flashcards, play interactive games, and has a homework helper as well.

KUTA Software This is a great website for teachers. It offers hundreds of free worksheets on several different math concepts, allowing you to differentiate your instruction, improve your materials and adapt to your individual classes. While it is a subscription website, there are several great options that are offered for free.

Rice University and the Houston School District provides beginning algebra lesson plans developed by teachers.
