Focus Group Meeting Minutes

Educational Specialists present: Cathy Anema, Rolff Christensen, Randy Hodges, Julie Lackie, Lecia Liege, David Pinasco, Shahnaz Shah, Carol Smith-Dupree, Tammy Tagge, Seija Anderson, and Kimberly Gawel
Parent member: Randy Hodges
1. Rolff briefly reviewed the WASC document ³Support for Student Personal and Academic Growth².
2. Group divided in two groups to discuss and review for editorial comments on content, fill in examples, fill in information, and correct grammar/spelling.
3. After discussion, focus group rejoined and amended the document as attached. Overall, formatting for paragraphs was corrected to make it uniform throughout the document. Either an empty line between paragraphs should be used or an indent at the beginning of paragraphs, but not both. Because of limited time, only paragraphs 1, 2, 10 and the beginning of 11 were reviewed. Corrections are indicated by brown font color.
Meeting adjourned at 6:15pm.
