ADMINISTRATION /GUIDANCE MEETING HELD MANY MILES AWAY.C. THAT THE ADMINISTRATION WORK TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF LEARNING
CENTERS
AND EXPAND THE AVAILABLE COURSE OFFERINGS AT THE CENTERS.
THE DIVERSITY IN LOCATION FOR FAMILIES DOES NOT ALLOW THE INVESTMENT OF
TIME
AND FUNDS TO SET UP LEARNING CENTERS IN FAR AWAY LOCATIONS... THESE
FAMILY
UNITS ALSO HAVE A WAY OF INCREASING IN POCKET AREAS, IN A VARIETY OF
LOCATIONS. LEARNING CENTERS ARE ESTABLISHED IN THE MOST PRACTICAL
LOCATION
FOR THE MAJORITY OF STUDENTS THAT ARE WILLING TO FUND THEIR ACTIVITIES.

D. THAT THE ADMINISTRATION PROVIDES ADDITIONAL PROFESSIONAL GROWTH
DEVELOPMENT TRAINING FOR EDUCATIONAL SPECIALISTS AND PARENTS.

ACCESSABLE...PERHAPS ON WEB OR C D TRAINING MODE.

HOME SCHOOL PARENTS ARE OFTEN IN A POSITION WHERE THEY DISTRUST THE
COMPREHENSIVE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM AND THEREFORE DO NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE
OF
SITE BASED TRAINING.
TRAINING C D'S COULD BE MADE, PICKED UP BY THE ES AT THEIR MONTHLY ES
MEETINGS
AND TAKEN TO FAMILIES WITH A VARIETY OF TRAINING AND INFORMATION ..
ONE POSSIBLE PROBLEM, ES'S ARE OFTEN NOTIFIED LATE OF OFFERINGS FOR
CLASSES
AND TRAINING...IF FAMILIES DO NOT HAVE AN E MAIL ACCOUNT , AND THE ES
HAS JUST
SEEN THE FAMILIES, THE INFORMATION IS VIRTUALLY WASTED...REQUEST A SIX

ADVANCE WINDOW FOR INFORMATION TO BE SENT TO ES'S , THEREBY ENSURING

DISSIMULATION TO PARENTS.#4 WHAT MORE COULD BE DO TO ADDRESS WASC CONCERNS THROUGH OUR FOCUS

LARGE CONCERN OVER A-G STUDENTS....AND A-G COURSES THAT ARE USUALLY
EXCEPTIONALLY EXPENSIVE... THIS EXCEPTIONAL EXPENSE CAN CAUSE HARDSHIP
ON A
FAMILY, CAUSE A STUDENT TO LIMIT OR ELIMINATE THEIR A-G COURSE WORK
AND
POSSIBLE PROHIBIT THEM FROM SUCCESSFUL MOVEMENT TOWARD THE CALIFORNIA
STATE
UNIVERSITY SYSTEM.....NO STUDENT WITH THE ABILITY SHOULD BE DENIED THE
POSSIBILITY TO ADVANCE TO THE CALIFORNIA UNIVERSITY SYSTEM BECAUSE
CONNECTING WATERS COULD NOT HELP FUND THEIR SUPPLIES.
WE WOULD DEVELOP AN A-G BOOKSTORE WHERE CONNECTING WATERS BOOK FUNDS ARE
USED TO PROVIDE SOME A-G COURSE SUPPLIES/ BOOKS/ ANSWER KEYS FOR USE BY THESE
DESIGNATED STUDENTS ONLY.
A MAJORITY OF THESE STUDENTS ARE IDENTIFIED AT THE END OF THE PREVIOUS
YEAR. THESE SUPPLIES WOULD BE DISTRIBUTED EVENLY AMONG THOSE IDENTIFIED.
DISTRIBUTION MUST BE FAIR AND EQUITABLE FOR ALL STUDENTS INVOLVED. THIS
WOULD
HELP SECURE ACADEMIC ADVANCEMENT BASED ON ABILITY NOT STUDENT FUNDS.
MAJOR CONCERN OVER DISTRICT PURCHASED BOOKS BEING SENT TO LEARNING
CENTERS
WITH STUDENTS IN OUTLYING AREAS HAVING LITTLE IF ANY ACCESS TO THEM
BEFORE A
FEW ES'S HAVE SNAGGED THEM ALL...WISH TO DEVELOP A FAIR AND EQUITABLE
DISTRIBUTION TO ALL AREAS WHEN TESTING BOOKLETS, CASHEE PRETEST BOOKS,
DISTRICT PURCHASED MATERIALS , ETC. ARE MADE AVAILABLE .......
