CWCS March Newsletter
By
I just wanted to let you know that we had our initial visit with Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)
Tuesday, March 4th from 9:00 am to 3:00 in the afternoon.
I know
that pride is not a good thing but for lack of a better word...you should all
be proud to be
enrolled in an IEM school! I believe that it would have been very
difficult for any first year school to be ready for an initial visit this soon
without the IEM support!
We had
participation from wonderful ESs, fantastic parents,
students, IEM and District leadership.
It was a wonderful meeting!
One of the possible recommendations to the Accrediting Commission regarding the
status of our school would be Candidacy or Denial. I believe that we will
receive Candidacy! Once we receive candidacy we can put on our
transcripts: Approved Candidate for Accreditation, Western Association of
Schools and Colleges. As soon as we
are contacted I will let you know.
