COSMOSCalifornia State Summer School for Math and Science!  For 9th – 11th graders! Offered at UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Santa Cruz and UC San Diego!  Go to www.ucop.edu/cosmos for an application, deadline is usually in March, check the website for details.

 

UC Davis Young Scholars Program is available to high achieving sophomores and juniors interested in a summer of research opportunities in the biological and natural sciences.  Additional information at http://ysp.ucdavis.edu . Deadline in March, check website.

 

Math & Engineering Summer Programs at NC State University

Santa Clara University offers a Summer Engineering Seminar (SES). California Youth Think Tank Summer Program is looking for qualified candidates in grades 9 - 12 to participate.  Critical thinking, research, effective communication, writing, reasoning, listening, debate, public speaking, consensus building, compromise, and a knowledge of world events are some of what will be gained through this one week leadership conference. Program will be held at University of Southern California, from June 25 through July 1. Cost is $200.00, which includes housing, meals, and activities.
