Approved Online Vendors for a-g and AP Courses

The following Principal approved online vendors provide courses that CWCS will count as a-g, Honors, or AP (Advanced Placement). Please be aware that each semester Final Exam must be proctored by your ES. Unless otherwise stated, these courses also meet CWCS HQT requirements. Students taking online courses must follow the online vendor’s policy regarding test proctoring, communication with the instructor, turning in assignments, etc… The grade assigned by the online vendor is final.

EPGY-Stanford’s Education Program for Gifted Youth (EPGY) http://epgy.stanford.edu/ There are specific guidelines to qualify for enrollment, and a single course can cost as much as $2,950 for one year.

NUVHS – National University Virtual High School www.nuvhs.org, cost per semester course a-g course is $295 and an AP semester course is $375.

*K12, Inc – courses are available, however, you must choose teacher supported courses or use an approved a-g HQT, cost per teacher supported semester course is $425 and teacher supported AP semester course is $475.
