ES CD Wallets: All ESs are provided with a Microsoft Office, an Anti-virus program, and a Dell Refresh/Restore disk. These are to be used by the ES for set up purposes when they receive the new Dell computer. If needed, they may be left with the family, and collected by the ES at the next LR visit. See CD Wallets for more information. The cds are for PCs only.

Microsoft Office is now ordered through Dell. Please make a PO for Dell using this Dell Quote for any school owned computer (PCs only) that does not already have the software included in the price quote. The above Dell computers include the price of the MS Office already, and can have the software installed without an additional PO. Your Area Facilitator will have copies of the software for each ES. Here are the Installation Directions. (Although the order number on the Dell quote links to MS Office 2007, CWCS IT and the WUSD Tech Lead have decided that MS Office 2003 will be ordered to provide the most trouble free usage for the time being.)

For non-school owned computers (family owned computers) instructional funds can be used to purchase Microsoft Office – we don’t use the Office disk included in the ES CD Wallet.Gov Connection offers a student edition.
